I didn’t know what to expect and wasn’t sure at first, but this is a fantastic movie about two brothers, their misunderstandings, their trauma, and eventually their reunification through homophobia, family, and decisions. It is brutal, funny, quirky, and dark. The characters begin as average country folks and end as a whole feeling. Highly recommend!! This is an intense and heartbreaking, but ultimately, hopeful, story about two brothers on a difficult and revealing journey, towards, forgiveness, acknowledgement, love, loyalty, and acceptance. The scenes are set in an absolutely gorgeous background. I could not look away from these brothers, or the stunning skies over Canada. This movie will stay with me for a long time.
