Just a typical movie about an alcoholic mother who is so wrapped up in herself she doesn't see the destruction she has caused in her daughter's life. The daughter basically must reverse roles and parent her parent. Didn't care about any of the characters - none of them touched my heart. Poorly executed story. If you have ever dealt with suicide, this one is for you. I hate tear jerkers but this is one film that is outstanding. It was genuine and not unrealistic like a lot of movies. this movie is true to what people go through living with an alcoholic and/or dealing with suicide. The acting in this movie was fantastic. See more 12/19/2009 Another story of the kid being the parent and the parent being the kid. The dialogue is uninteresting but I was drawn in for some reason. There's nothing about this movie that really makes it stand out and the ending is way too abrupt.
