Horror fan 4 @Horrorfan4life Aug 6 Well this took one hell of a turn fast. 5 ladies at a party on a boat which eventually they get removed from. They then turn to the desert party where things get even crazier. There were some cool characters and then there was a few annoying ones like lola. There was one drawn out sequence involving an hallucination. The last 15 minutes was worth finishing this movie. Every song choice seemed to amplify the anxiety on screen, making scenes feel even more chaotic and unpredictable. I also loved how beautiful Joshua Tree looked while simultaneously feeling so isolated and threatening. Stylish, intense, and surprisingly emotional. It's much more interested in the relationships between the friends than constant scares. Once everything falls apart, though, the tension really kicks in.
