If you believe the archive of footage was fake/made up - good for you. I loved the premise, especially with a lot of it rooted in statistical facts. The town where this takes place in really is an oddity, with UFO sightings and abductions reported yearly. I think Milla’s acting was a bit over the top in a lot of scenes, but I think the overall premise of the movie was carried over distinctly. And in my personal opinion, terrifyingly. A lot of reviews I’ve seen have been based off angry people watching this from a point of prejudice who specifically wanted entertainment, not horror. I watched this from a point of intrigue, and that made it terrifying for me. I believe this is an absolute must watch for anyone who loves anything UFO related, just be sure to throw your preconceived ideas at the door before entering the room and sitting down. One member recalled his first memory of being taken. It was exactly how they took the young boy in this movie. This movie weaved experiences and history into it's story telling which made it such a gem for me. It felt real, the suspense made me feel dread, and the shock at the end was perfect.
