Mafu Kopu (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi), an unemployed Tongan immigrant living in New Zealand, is under pressure to send money home. Desperate, he takes a door-to-door sales job for FORGET, a US-based cleaning product company, where he meets the charismatic and successful salesman Marco Cass (Simon Rex). Marco offers to mentor Mafu, presenting him with a lifeline and the promise of the American dream down under. What begins as a mutually beneficial partnership quickly devolves into a living nightmare as Mafu, seduced by his new mentor, becomes entangled in Marco's dangerous capitalist con.
