This sassy and hyperactive romp can be a bit too loud and boisterous....But it’s hard not to respond to the heartfelt innocence and childlike charms that seep from nearly every pore of this beloved movie.

“Goonies” is an entertaining film and has a cult following of teens from the ’80s, who remember the film well. Adults will enjoy watching it with their children, since it’s a more subdued family film than what comes out today.

The perfect definition of 80s children's adventure films. The pace is a delightful rush full of traps, pirates, and caricatured villains, supported by a young cast with a chaotic and captivating chemistry that compensates for the exaggerations and obvious noise of the script.
