See more 02/14/2022 I am totally biased but politicians get to vote for themselves, so can't I review this film?? HOSEA is a beautiful film thanks to the exhaustive work of so many indie filmmakers. When a movie comes together like this - especially one that was shot at such a low budget - it is only possible because each person in the credits went above and beyond to make it happen. I hope people see this film and feel invited to think about familiar narratives in scripture in a new way. Please check out our film! See more 02/10/2022 There isn't a lot of allegorical storytelling that feels contemporary and like it has something new to say: this movie does! At the core it's a story about meeting people on their level and I found it really refreshing and a look at a darker path that still had dignity. Really enjoyed it. See more 01/31/2022 Such a wonderful indie movie! It's not for the faint of heart (and please be aware of the "R" rating - it isn't a family movie!). But it is so powerful and such a thoughtful representation of the story of Hosea and Gomer (a story from the Bible). Why can't more movies like this be made instead of the bad Christian films??
