A decent premise with a solid cast but the terrible writing kills any potential this has. The lighting & lenses used make everything look fake or indiscernible, even if they fuel the tone. Building a mystery around a love story is an interesting idea but it quickly becomes cheesy & overdone. See more David R @RT50948403 Jun 4 (SPOILER ALERT) The begining was wondurful paving the way for a good story. I was dissapointed when Sophie died, I expected her to make it to the end. After her death the movie was too monotonous for my liking, but when the plot twist came at the very end I was delightfully surprised immedietly thinking to myself that the film deserves more recognition. I especially like Inspector Uhl's charecter, at first seeming loyal to the prince, but a good police man at heart. See more Kathryn U. @RT61406320 Apr 30 Not realistic-who cares about the movie at all if the illusions cannot be explained/have credibility. This is just dazzling by ambiance. It was originally apparently a *short story*. What does that tell you? That, in part, there was not enough substance in it for more.
