In a future where time is money and the wealthy can live forever, Will Salas (Justin Timberlake) is a poor man who rarely has more than a day's worth of life on his time clock. When he saves Henry Hamilton (Matt Bomer) from time thieves, Will receives the gift of a century. However, such a large transaction attracts the attention of the authorities, and when Will is falsely accused of murder, he must go on the run, taking the daughter (Amanda Seyfried) of an incredibly wealthy man with him.

I swear everyone on Rotten Tomatoes thinks they are all high and mighty and that their shit doesn't stink. Don't listen to any of the reviews on here. This movie is actually fantastic. Is Justin the greatest actor? No, but in this movie, he actually delivers a great performance for his character and I'm not sure why so many people keep berating his performance in this film. It is far better than people give him credit for. There are other films he has been in that are FAR FAR worse and nobody seems to remember his much worse performance in Cheaper by the Dozen. Regardless this has a setting, idea, and theme that NO OTHER film has explored. In a world of movies that are all very similar, this one has a unique premise that literally turns the idea that "Time is Money" into a literal visceral thing. Rather than just a convoluted metaphor, it literally is in this world. Dialogue and action are spot on, and it's a fun movie.

If you can suspend all logic, science and reasoning this film is quite fun. Its plot is like swiss cheese and the acting (including from some greats) is pretty poor throughout. I don't really understand how this script was green lit, I can only imagine it went through years of tinkering that made it completely incomprehensible. BUT, it is quite a compelling watch with some decent action.
