I thought the acting in this movie was good however the plot developed slowly and was often tediously boring. It made me feel sad. Unfortunately, we will all face similar circumstances someday assuming we live long enough. I, like most people I'm sure, endeavor to ignore the possibility hoping that it will simply go away.
