A travelogue through parts of London rarely seen on screen, Last Swim touches on issues of class in deftly subtle ways. Olan Collardy's cinematography is gorgeous and Deba Hekmat anchors the film with the best head of hair I've seen in ages.

The film eschews typical coming-of-age tropes, or subverts them, countering adolescent hormone-driven narratives with existential gravitas, which turns the film with all its laughs and jokes into a poignant reflection of adolescence and what lies beyond.

Didn't like it. Portentous in the worst way. Mixed acting. Cringeworthy dialogue that comes across as being written by somebody 40+. Even the camerawork and big panoramas seem totally perfunctory and out of sync with the feel of the film. All a bit pointless.

great to see a coming of age story with a modern perspective. really felt the messy yet organized last day of school vibes. i would recommend to anyone who likes an indie film.

Excellent film. Absolutely beautifully shot with actors I’ve never seen before, but fell in love with each of them. Some really unexpected moments that have lead me to say 5 stars over 4, because initially it feels like something you have seen before.
