On his first official day of retirement, Detective Shaw (Josh Duhamel) is called back to the precinct when a blood-drenched teenager named AJ (Dylan Sprouse) surrenders with a chilling ultimatum: he has buried Shaw's teenage son alive. Neglected can be an accurate description of how this horrible movie's filmmakers neglected to make a good movie. This tacky drama goes downhill as soon as the cop protagonist has less than 10 hours to solve three murders.

This was so hard to watch. Dylan Sprouse did a great job, everyone else did not. Most of the film is so cringe. I read that it was shot in less than 2 weeks & that’s very clear from watching it. It’s a Lifetime movie that somehow made it to theaters.

Okay, so Neglected is wild from start to finish, but Elena Sanchez just became my new favorite action-thriller star! You can totally tell she has the chops to make her incredibly believable as a tough, no-nonsense cop. She doesn’t just say her lines she embodies the role of Detective Keyes with her posture, her intense glares, and her quick reactions. It's so refreshing to see a female detective acted with such raw authenticity and grit, especially when the precinct starts falling into total chaos. Highly recommend checking this one out.

Sooo bad! It was like they were competing to see whose acting was worse. It was a blind date, and in the intro you knew it was a mistake, but you're not a quitter and you gave it a chance... umm, nope! A detective that gets squeamish at the sight of blood? I see a lot of movies weekly, and you have to take the bad with the good, but sorry, I don't know how this made it to the big screen.
