See more SICKS6SIX S @sicks6six Nov 5 I went to see this when it was released back 1973, I was 13, as I walked to the bus station from the cinema there was trail of broken bus shelter windows and broken litter bins from the audience as they wandered off home or tot he pub for last orders, the next day people were sawing up broom handles and stealing thetoilet chains at school to make Nunchucks, the chemists sold out of crepe bandages for wrist bruising, and that is the best thing I can say about this film, its total rubbish, every part of it, the acting, the dialogue, the cinemaphotography, the studio sets look like the BBC's children's TV Magic Roundabout, how anyone can sit though this film without switching over or off I cant understand, even when I went to see it at 13 when we left we were laughing about it, picking up rickshaws with a passenger in it and throwing it down the street, that scene became a known action when playing Charades, the noise you made was "EEEaaahhhah" something like that anyway, how did bruce lee become so rich making these films is one of the greatest mysteries of all time, in reality he wasn't a Master of Kung fue, that was Carl Douglas, he wrote down the ancient laws of Kung Fu There were funky China men from funky Chinatown They were chopping them up, they were chopping them down It's an ancient Chinese art, and everybody knew their part From a feint into a slip and a kicking from the hip See more Carlos T @RT67858720 08/16/2025 Filme: A Nova Fúria do Dragão Elenco: @jackiechan Nora Miao, Han Ying-chieh, Chan Sing, Robert Tai, Chiang Kam,... Modelo: #artesmarciais #drama Duração: 2h Ano: 1976 Minha opinião: São poucos os filmes que Jackie Chan faz filmes onde coloca japoneses e chineses em batalhas, este filme acredito que seja o 1º. Pois a relação de Jackie e os japoneses sempre foram ótimas, tanto que no ínicio de sua carreira a Mitsubishi foi patrocinadora de vários filmes dele; Thunderbolt 1995, Quem sou Eu 1998, Armadura de Deus, City Hunter,..... MAs aqui o filme se passa quando os japoneses tinham ocupado parte da China. Tal estilo de filme Bruce Lee em “A Fúria do Dragão”. E como aqui é tipo uma sequência e nome é “Nova Fúria do Dragão”. TEmos os japoneses apoderando dos dojos chineses e transformando em dojos japoneses. Assim temos Jackie como sempre desastrado que depois de perder, e cair no fundo do poço, ele encontra o mestre que o treina e na nova revanche vence. É o mesmo enredo, curiosidades aqui, que são poucos filmes que Jackie mata, aqui ele o faz. Outra curiosidade temos a atriz Nora Miao, famosa por participar dos filmes de Bruce Lee e temos Han Ying-chien que fez o vilão do 1º filme de Bruce “O Dragão Chinês”. Vale apena assistir? I like the fact this film is about resistance to the Japanese tenure in China a lot. I also like that “Ching Wu” means Unity and Resistance, I don’t know if that’s true but if it is that is so dope. Honestly don’t bother to watch it. I have the Arrow Player that’s got a ton of cult films so that’s how I saw it. I unintentionally watched the re-release cut, which probably explains why the film was so jumpy when it came to plot and a few fighting scenes. The downer ending kinda sucks too, wish he didn’t get shot up like that. If you like Kung Fu and Jackie Chan, then MAYBE just maybe this is for you. 2/5 stars. This clown can't copy the legendary Bruce Lee See more 11/06/2015 Review: This is a very authentic Kung Fu movie which I found quite amusing because of its funny dubbing and old skool storyline, we're a pupil is out to revenge his master. The old ones are always the best! Jackie Chan was a young looking 22 year old when he starred in this movie and his martial arts skills wasn't as polished as they are in his latter movies but the epic showdown at the end was still quite good. Chan plays A Lung, who steals from the rich with his father, who he also lives with. After turning down many Kung Fu schools because he doesn't like the fact that he would have to change his lifestyle, he finally joins a school because he is fed up with the way that the Japanese are putting down the Chinese way of training. One of the Japanese Kung Fu school leaders, wants to make all of the Chinese martial arts schools come under his umbrella but all of them want to stay independent so the conflict turns to violence. He offers all of the schools to a battle for power but his elite squad easily take out the Chinese top fighters. When he finally gets to challenge A Lungs school, an epic showdown between there top fighters takes place and the Japanese leader uses underarm tactics to try and take out A Lung. I just admit, the action scenes were not the best and some of the fighting was really slow but the determination from Chan in the final showdown was great. There was a hint of silly comedy at the beginning but once the movie gets going, the politics between the Japanese and Chinese schools was quite interesting. I doubt they could make a movie like this in this day and age because it's not really politically correct but with that aside you can really see how much Chan stood out from the rest at such a young age. I can't really see how it's connected to the original Fist of Fury, which Chan also starred in and I do think that people will be a bit disappointing because they might be expecting something close to the original, which starred the brilliant Bruce Lee. Anyway, you can't fault this movie for its authenticity and believable cinematography but the action scenes were a bit weak. Watchable! Round-Up: This movie was made a few years before Chan hit it big with Drunken Master but he still had a few movies behind him so he wasn't new to the big screen. His acting was quite impressive, for that day and age and the straight forward storyline was interesting throughout. The director, Wei Lo, who died in 1996 of heart failure, also directed the original Fist of Fury and the Big Boss which both starred the great Bruce Lee, so he was one of the lucky directors to have worked with the best in the martial arts world. He had made over 60 movies in his career, most of which I can't pronounce because they were made in China but he will always be remembered for the movies that he made with Bruce Lee which have become timeless masterpieces.  Budget: N/A Worldwide Gross: HK$456,787.20 I recommend this movie to people who are into their action/martial arts/dramas starring Jackie Chan, Ming Cheng Chang and Shen Lin Chang. 5/10 See more Read all reviews
