"Outcome" is a dark comedy that centers on Reef Hawk (Keanu Reeves), a beloved Hollywood star who must dive into the depths of his hidden demons after he is extorted with a mysterious video that's sure to shatter his image and end his career. With the support of his lifelong besties Kyle (Cameron Diaz) and Xander (Matt Bomer), along with his crisis lawyer Ira (Jonah Hill), Reef embarks on a soul-searching journey to make amends with anyone he could have possibly wronged in hopes of identifying the blackmailer. Co-writer and director Hill brings a unique lens to Reef's wild but spiritually cleansing, nostalgic and eye-opening trip down memory lane, where confronting his past might be the only way to rescue his future.

As it is, it has a weird, half-finished vibe, with a lumpy, repetitive structure, a bizarre colour palette that resembles an exploding Tango Ice Blast machine, and too many scenes that wear on well beyond their natural usefulness. Go to Full Review

Director Jonah Hill’s satire of Hollywood cancel culture in the age of TMZ leaves out all the laughs that define character and sinks Keanu Reeves and an all-star cast in a muddle of jokes creaky enough to qualify for assisted living. Go to Full Review

There’s no denying Hill’s instinct for identifying the heart of a dramatic scene and turning the volume of the storytelling down low enough for us to hear it beating. Go to Full Review

Yeah, doesn't work and gives a strange platform for familiar faces to drop the f-bomb. But there is some good support work from Diaz and Bomer, and some satire regarding cancel culture. But could be a greatest waste of cast since Bewitched. Go to Full Review

The whole thing plays like 90 minutes of laughter from a filmmaker who cannot stop smiling ear-to-ear, asking, “Yo, am I the asshole here?” without ever really being prepared for the answer. Go to Full Review

The fact is, it's one of the least funny and least moving films of recent times. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Danny C @NotABotDJc 50m I was excited about the cast until the tone deaf and blatant Tesla product placement hit me over the head harder than the movie plot. Not sure if this was a movie or Tesla advertisement. Guess someone forget who took over our government, stole American data, and made its everlasting stain mark on democracy. I’ll give you an hint, rhymes with Elon. Oops. See more Brenda F @RT29801591 1h Oof, this is bad. Not funny, uncomfortable, ended up turning it off after twenty minutes. So disappointed-such a strong cast. Didn’t they realize it wasn’t funny? Or interesting? See more Shauna J. @Johnson7375 1h I love Keanu Reeves, but what is he doing in this disaster of a movie?! Yikes! See more Thomas M @thomasamarkel 1h Another bad artsy horrible Apple movie!! I loved F1 because you worked with the Top Gun Maverick team + F1 team. I love Keenu Reeves the Matrix is one on my favorite all-time movies and I love John Wick movies! This satire is stupid dumb and cruel not funny horrible piece of crap!! See more Steven S. @G0dJester 1h Perhaps the most surprising thing about this movie is how an assembly of such talented people could make something so bad. It fails as a comedy and/or a drama and is littered with characters that are wholly unrelatable. Any time an audience is asked to empathize with a millionaires personal emotional turmoil (even if it’s warranted) that’s a big ask. This entirely misses the mark in so many ways. It looks ugly at times and the soundtrack is wildly mismatched to the tone of the movie. Would Not Recommend See more Meg C. @megcee 1h Great cast but drawn out boring movie, this could have been so much better See more Read all reviews
