B P @Bradster69 6d Not Bad, but Not My Favorite See more Cinema S @cinema_sensei Aug 20 It expands the original's mythology while keeping the same slow-burn approach. The security-camera setup creates some genuinely creepy moments, and the final act delivers solid tension. But knowing what to expect takes away some of the original's mystery and surprise. See more Declan D. @filmbuffkid Apr 5 Yeah it was pretty ok, it got the middle child treatment for franchises like Ant-Man 2, the jump-scares were good, but the first 15 minutes just slowed me down a bit because we know some characters and we already going to know what is gonna happen in the near future of the plot and that kinda brings down the suspense of the unknown, but when it comes to other prequels like Transformers one, we know that Optimus and megatron were like brothers but we didn’t know how or why they became enemies and that is why we were so shocked about the betrayal and brothers becoming enemies, but here it doesn’t really make any sense on why we should be receiving the same knowledge that we already know in the first place! If you just cut out the knowledge stuff in the movie and watch the first film before this, it would make sense while you’re watching this! But I’ll admit this, the third act was pretty good, But besides that it was a ok movie with good scares. 6.3/10. See more Read all reviews
