This isn’t a movie trying to win awards, but it uses jumps in time in a creative way that is fun without being confusing. Both characters are likeable despite their quirks. I have not enjoyed a romantic comedy in a long time. I think this succeeds because it does not push so hard for laughs that it seems contrived and it doesn’t go for gross out humor which often just ends up being gross.
