Yes this movie is dumb. But that's the idea. It's just dumb fun. This came out at the peak of WCW craze. I'm not a huge wrestling fan and even I went to Nitro in Philly around that time. The humor is painfully juvenile, and most jokes either fall flat or are stretched way too long. The story is thin and mostly exists just to string together wrestling scenes and random antics. Even as a comedy, it struggles to stay consistently entertaining, with pacing that drags in the middle and characters that feel more like sketches than real people. There are a few moments that might get a chuckle, especially if you're into wrestling nostalgia, but they’re too few to save it. Overall, it feels messy, loud, and forgettable. 3/10.
