That’s how it felt for me. The pro’s of this film: the cinematography actually holds up and actually looked pretty impressive. And I like how the sun reflects off the metal like real life, The voice cast was a decent enough cast. You got Mel brooks, You got Ewan Kenobi! as the main lead. And I like the Star Wars reference which is a nod to the actor. Robin williams (RIP My childhood legend) did a good job with the role and got me chuckled And the adult jokes are absolutely hilarious and caught me off guard. And I really enjoyed the first 19 minutes of the film because it actually has a great message to it. Plus, it has a roller coaster type scene which was fire! And it has the avengers endgame portal type scene (avengerSON✌️😭) Con’s: Jennifer Coolidge this is an obvious one, we can get this one out of the way. See more Tyler S @tylerking24 Jun 26 This is a movie that my mom said we watched a lot of when I was younger, but I remember absolutely nothing about this movie. I wanted to give it a higher rating, but it was honestly pretty mid. Its like they really wanted this to hit hard, but it just felt bland. It needed something but I can't really say what. I also didn't realized how STACKED this cast was. Took me forever to figure out Ewan McGregor was our lead. See more Lasse L @RT62932725 May 14 Robots has a cool aesthetic, and the movie uses it to explore some interesting themes. I think it often ends up stopping just short of reaching something profound. At the end of the day, Robots is more of a kids' movie than art, which, in the context of what other Western animated movies were doing at the time, is derogatory. See more Read all reviews
