Authentic acting, story, street sex worker, does everything, goes anywhere, longing for a connection he cannot find. Drug use, living on the streets, poor health, all add up to a short life. Finding love at last, he absorbs it, but in the end runs away from the one man who loves him. Despite some shocking wild scenes and explicit sex, it is a character for which basic instincts for survival are essential and the movie makes you care for the main character and wish he would stop suffering so much of hunger, homelessness and a sad lack of affection.
