Claudio C @Claudio666 Aug 15 Sew Torn (2024) Choices (12,624 – 14 Aug 2026 – Claudio Carvalho) The mobile seamstress Barbara (Eve Connolly) inherited the business from her mother but she does not like her profession. When her client Grace (Caroline Goodall), who is getting married, asks her to sew a button in her wedding dress and offends her, Barbara lets the button fall in a grille to upset Grace. She needs to drive to her shop to bring another and sees an accident on the road and a briefcase of money. She thinks she has three choices to make but all of them goes wrong. "Sew Torn" (2024) is an entertaining film that follows the idea of "Blind Chance" (1987), "Sliding Doors" (1998) and "Run Lola Run" (1998), with variations in accordance with the choice of the protagonist. Although not original, the film is witty and the viewer will certainly like it. Eve Connolly has a great performance and the landscapes are breathtaking. My vote is six. Title (Brazil): "A Costureira" ("The Seamstress") See more Alain E @AlainE Jul 31 Starts pleasantly weird, like something that David Lynch would have imagined. It then progresses in ways that we cannot explain. Why in the first option the girl collects the surviving villain, but instead of taking him to a hospital she imprisons him in her living quarters? Then we have variations of what transpired before say like Run, Lola, Run, but the level of weirdness is not really explained. Also the setting is hard to pinpoint. The landscape looks like Switzerland, but everybody speaks English. However we are not in England as the car steering wheel is on the left side. Excellent color cinematography. Never have I ever seen a movie that made me just say a few times "can we get to the point" but I knew since the beginning she was a character that showed a skill and attentive but overall the movie was not good. Only the creative sewing like LMAO literally all there is that’s interesting. Why make a movie with no dialogue in order to capture the viewer. Using thread as a weapon and a elderly law enforcement officer plus the ending that really bends reality. See more Virginia L @Vwlpaige May 5 Funny and full of action. Seemingly ordinary young seamstress finds herself in wildly dangerous situations and saves herself with her thread skills.
