Azert H @RT27213191 Aug 21 Emotionally gripping thriller embedded in the chair of a 911 operator showcasing the devastating toll of emergency calls on one's psyche. From chilling screams, to helpless silences and broken promises, Jordan has her work cut out for her in this fantastic crime drama. Upon watching, I can vouch that I was thoroughly hooked from the get-go and it often moved me to tears hearing the dark situations and responses to the "person reporting", as she tries to help a kidnapped girl with the scarcest of information at her fingertips. Incredibly tense atmosphere. A key message is that you never know what the next call is - that's the biggest fear - as well as the haunting reality of zero closure after every call like the end. If you are looking to watch a 1 in a million plot carried out alongside headset-shattering, intense music and breathless filmmaking, then this is your pick. Overall, very satisfied, despite a few convenient plot devices and risky decisions near the end. A total must watch! See more Ricky A @RT53733086 Aug 5 A low-brow thriller the qualifies as one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen. The script writing is terrible. Consider the following:. A girl is kidnapped and stuck in a trunk of a car. She manages a call to 911 which tells her to knock out a tail light. Fair enough. Then she is told to waive her arm out the hole to attract attention. This works. But when the kidnapper exits the freeway, this successful strategy is not continued. Instead, the girl is told the poor paint out the hole from a can in the trunk. And then a helicopter flying hundreds of feet in the air in a completely different location advises that he can't see a paint trail. Well duh. The girl in the trunk does a good job, but everyone else is just a caricature of the character they're supposed to be. Hopelessly overacted. It's nothing more than a B movie. Halle berry did a great job as the operator the hopelessness she felt definitely can be felt as the viewer. And the actor who played Michael is seriously talented I genuinely believe he is a psycho in real life.
