The characters aren't likeable, especially the kids. A lot of scenes feel dragged out to extend watch time. The story of a "Doorman" with an extraordinary set of skills, and unusual past makes for a some good elements. Ruby Rose is decent in the lead role; however, she really doesn't carry the film like a Bruce Willis in Die Hard, or Charles Theron in Atomic Blonde. Simon Rhee did a good job coordinating the stunts and fights or short time and a low budget. Jean Reno is the strongest part of the movie. he has great screen presence. The problem with the film is not that it is a low budget action film, but that it looks like one too often throughout. See more Read all reviews
