Nick Morton is a soldier of fortune who plunders ancient sites for timeless artifacts and sells them to the highest bidder. When Nick and his partner come under attack in the Middle East, the ensuing battle accidentally unearths Ahmanet, a betrayed Egyptian princess who was entombed under the desert for thousands of years. With her powers constantly evolving, Morton must now stop the resurrected monster as she embarks on a furious rampage through the streets of London.

Brilliant! Great story and very well directed by Alex Kurtzman. Very good cinematography and visually stunning. Tom Cruise brings his usual presence and rest of cast all very convincing in character. Lots of action, drama, suspense, quirkiness, off beat humor, intrigue and emotion. Seems most "critics" only compare it to (the many) previous iterations and forgot completely to look at THIS movie. Memorable and entertaining

I don’t know why this movie isn’t rated higher. I bought in. I really liked it and I watch a ton of movies like it. I think the masses got it wrong here. Really solid, good movie. Interesting cohesive story. Good suspense. Great action. Sexy mummy, sexy mummy professor, Tommy. What’s not to like? Ignore the ratings, you’ll enjoy.
