Cinema S @cinema_sensei 1h I wanted to like this more because there are some genuinely interesting ideas underneath the weirdness, and Alyssa Sutherland gives the film something to hold onto. But it throws too much together without developing enough of it. The horror rarely got under my skin, the twists felt predictable, and the whole thing became more messy than unsettling. Otherwise unsatisfying throughout, not scary, cheap special effects, felt like a low-budget TV movie. Dialogues and twists were lazy. Good actors. However, this movie feels like the script was not reviewed before use and there were so many nonsense choices. I enjoyed seeing Jonathan Rhys-Meyers on screen again, but still feel like I wasted 1 hour and 40 minutes. The movie being Horror should not mean less effort. Thank you, but no thank you.
