Most of these kinds of films are about the thrill of the chase, and nobody really cares why the killer is a killer. It’s only a shame that this particular example just isn’t quite as thrilling as it should be. Go to Full Review

There is absolutely zero tension in “You Can’t Run Forever.” It all feels like a lark, a project that would completely dissolve if not for the Oscar winner at its center. Go to Full Review

Originality isn’t You Can’t Run Forever’s strong suit, but Simmons is a persistent punisher and you won’t mind taking this short trip with his family. Go to Full Review

You Can't Run Forever is a nepotism project gone wrong. J.K. Simmons has the starring role as a serial killer in this ineptly made crime drama, directed by his wife and co-starring their daughter, with music composed by their son. It's a family fiasco. Go to Full Review

J.K. Simmons must be a loving husband and father, because it's hard to come up with any other reason he'd star in this clumsily shot, poorly paced thriller. Go to Full Review

Young S. @YoungStevie 2d Who greenlit this garbage and do they still have a job? See more Devon L @RT93453670 Apr 5 Michelle Schumacher as Writer and Director wanted to send the message (empty virtue signal) to Hollywood that "white equals either completely incompetent or highly dangerous for no discernible reason, and non-white equals good person," as if nobody has ever thought of that, and it isn't prevalent in all mainstream garbage these days. She used her husband (JK Simmons) to send that empty virtue signal. A girl being chased by a killer runs into the woods, and immediately does the "Which way do I go after turning around in circles 18 times for absolutely no reason" trope. They couldn't even do a good job of pandering. The killer, girl, and mom all use an app that tracks where the family's phones are. "Hey police, this is where the killer is" would have ended this movie. They made the non-white characters look even dumber than the white ones while trying to pander. Often turns out that way. See more Kristen W @Kristensales101 Apr 5 This was one of the worst storylines in a movie ever. I really wanted to like it but a movie shouldn't make you angry because of how dumb the characters are and illogical the thought processes are. Definitely not a thriller in any sense of the word. Like who is running from a killer and stops to wash their arm in the creek or calls someone on the phone, so the killer can hear their voice. And what group of people go into the woods at night with no weapons when there's an armed gunman hunting their friend. Horrible. See more funtime Dreadbear s @RT69144161 Dec 1 In all honest after watching this movie. I hate it. The theme and setting works well plus having a good cast but when you're trying to make it a suspense movie having a killer kill random people off but make it in the dumbest ways possible is a pain, half of them didn't even move whenever he killed them! And how was he able to find the girl inside the forest??? Like how does that work. The only part the I genuinely like from the movie was when they killed him which was near the end! And this is what my dad said about this movie Pelicula. Fea See more Stephen C @bob25009 May 27 What were you thinking?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
