11/10/2015 Great movie about the area I grew up in. Filled in a lot of the missing pieces of the story I have heard over the years. See more 11/09/2015 I saw this movie. It was AWESOME!!! Great job done by all. See more 11/08/2015 Very well done. The interview questions and editing deal with the subject and interviewees with fairness and respect. Very good choice of interview subjects. Supplemented with great artwork and archival images, as well as contemporary footage and imagery. Seeing the very positive response from locals in the audience reflects well on navigating something that could have been sensationalized for the occult aspect or trivialized long-held Pennsylvania German traditions. Instead it was a very informative, yet touching, telling of a local legend. Proof of this came from the collective dismay the audience expressed at the end when the audience discovered Jeanette Harvey passed away. In the few minutes of screen time, she told her story and made the audience care about her. The Rehmeyer's Hollow story finally has a documentary, and it is the one it deserves. A final note, I enjoyed the soundtrack, including the song at the ending credits. See more 11/08/2015 We were at the 5:00 screening yesterday and I loved it. Being from the area I've always known the story but the documentary was very well put-together and informative. We loved the interviews with family of those involved and also the use of the awesome artwork of Blymire. Great job and I wish you much success with the project.
