It's all good fun, even when it scores some serious points and has some serious scenes about death and dementia and loneliness. The cast is more than up to it all, and there are younger cast members contributing, too. Go to Full Review

It’s been called ‘Stranger Things’ for seniors, but it’s so much more as Geena Davis and Alfred Molina lead a cast of A-listers as retirees who take on aliens, aging and a society that sees them as invisible. Go to Full Review

The Boroughs makes literal the fears we all have about obsolescence and the end of life – that we’ll all be shunted and hidden away in a special place when we’re no longer of any use, just waiting to die. Go to Full Review

Despite some flaws, we believe "The Boroughs" deserves better than an early retirement. Go to Full Review

Though the convoluted plotting doesn’t bear too much close scrutiny, and though, being American and about old age, it can’t resist being schmaltzy in places, overall it’s a delight. Go to Full Review

Propelled by skilled veteran actors, the sinister, spooky, supernatural series has great promise - until the cheesy, predictable plot disappoints, concluding on an ambiguous note. Go to Full Review

Pablo B @PabloBlanco 3h Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, but I did notice a couple of missteps that stood out to me. The ending, for example, felt a bit anti-climatic and left some ambiguity on questions that popped up throughout the season. I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone, but I was hoping for a bit more clarity and resolution. Additionally, I felt that Geena Davis was somewhat miscast in this role. Her delivery came across as mumbling and at times was quite difficult to follow, possibly due to her facial expressions. I think Elizabeth Hurley would have been a far more natural and fitting choice for the part, bringing a different energy and presence to the character. See more J.A. M @j_a_morningstar 4h Interesting setting and graphic design, well played roles, but lack of diversity and sense. It wasn't that scary and ominous compared to Duff brothers' Strangers Things. The ending was dull for me See more Cash A @RT43804345 9h A very enjoyable show with great performances, sets and a good sci fi story line. Great to see Alfred Molina again. See more jimmy C @superman1983 16h TOTALLY LOVED IT Stranger Things goes OLD , And Boy Does It WORK GREAT All Round Very Well Done SHOW - Looking forward to the NEXT SEASON And More Like This In The Future Even if this Show Doesn't go Ahead I Hope there is More Made Like this that are Just a WEIRD and WILD See more Valentina T @RT41170176 17h I want to like this series so bad! The actors in it are really excellent and talented. It is just a little too boring. It has a lot of the elements that would make for a great series and yet... it falls a little flat in the execution. The actors are doing a great job in embodying the characters but the pace at which the story unfolds is agonizingly slow. Some of the characters seem a bit preposterous as well, like Geena Davis' character. Her romantic pairing is cringe and some of her lines are just ridiculous. I have two episodes left and I am dreading it. See more Laura L. @laurakali 18h Decent show. Good cast and soundtrack. If renewed I think it will get better. See more Read all reviews
