A film that, in its nimble 61-minute runtime, manages to traverse the massive emotional scope of life and death without breaking a sweat. Go to Full Review

“Propeller One-Way Night Coach” tells a simple story, but with such detail and nuance that we come away feeling that we really understand these people and their times. Go to Full Review

It’s more of a long-in-the-wings curio, interesting to those just as passionate about Travolta’s career as he is about planes. Go to Full Review

This weird little nostalgia trip is functional remembrance for its maker, but not really for the rest of us. Go to Full Review

While the intent is to present a sort of lofty version of this story, given its perspective, there’s so much narration, a lot of non-action, and a tone that suggests audiences are being somewhat pandered to. Go to Full Review

The film is quaint in its all-out earnestness, although it makes some baffling storytelling decisions Go to Full Review

L J @Cracky 20h I loved this movie! I have a fascination for flying, airports, the history, the interesting people! See more Jim C. @DJJim 1d I see some of the negative reviews but I loved this film. I actually never flew on a flight like this in 1962. My family couldn’t afford it. Flying on planes today reminds of taking a bus only faster. Now, thanks to John, I don’t have to imagine what I missed in the early 60s. So, shoot me, I loved this film. Watched it with my wife if 42 years. Thank you!! See more Thomas G @SubiDoo 1d Thanks for bringing back great memories of my childhood! Remembered my first flight on a Mohawk Airlines Convair 440 turbo prop. As a kid growing up in New York I made many a trip to Idelwild/JFK to see both my father and uncle off on their many flights international business flights as they were both travel agents. I was just like young Jeff always looking at travel related brochures and flight schedules always wondering what it would be like to travel the world and see so many exotic places. While some may not appreciate the film, I say John nailed the whole genre of the day. BTW, I always wanted one of those neat tin aircraft toys which were always front and center in the airport gift shops. I watched this film on a whim and was so glad that I did. It brought a smile to this old guy's face. Many thanks, John. See more Belinda A @BelindaAA 1d A peculiar but very sweet movie from the perspective of a young boy. Full of nostalgia and interesting cameos. A lovely film made with so much love. Anyone who has loved flying will enjoy this movie. See more Stephen E. @RT56120509 1d Wow- this movie is extraordinarily bad. I actually can’t think of anyway to improve it. Thankfully it was only one hour. I hope writers from Saturday Night Live do some spoofs of this, I can envision many directions they could take. Perhaps if Benny Hill had been on the flight, this movie could go somewhere. Maybe the crazy character could have hijacked the plane. Snakes on the plane is a far better movie about aviation, at least there was a plot. Goes to show how money and fame can get any movie made, certainly not writing, directing, or acting. I can’t wait for the sequel when Jeff retires and flies his grandson back to NY maybe on a last Spirit Airline flight. See more Kim T @Kimchi871 3d beautifully made movie and very interesting Highly recommend See more Read all reviews
