Sydney (Neve Campbell) and tabloid reporter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) survived the events of the first Scream, but their nightmare isn't over. When two college students are murdered at a sneak preview of Stab, a movie based on the events from the first film, it's clear a copycat killer is on the loose. Sydney and Gail, as well as fellow survivors Deputy Dewey (David Arquette) and Randy (Jamie Kennedy) have to find out who is behind this new murder spree, before they all end up dead.

There are no bad scream movies yet But this is my 2nd least favorite sequal dumb choices dumb setups and dumb reveal 1st reveal from Scream 1 was pretty predictable but not dumb this movie’s reveal has 1 dumb reveal and 1 good reveal I wont spoil it but it was dumb but the movie is still funny and scary and there were some characters I really liked and got sad when they died

Be alerted to spoil. The one 'clever' bit I remember, and it feels sadism, but... It is Courtney Cox Arquette as then screaming... From behind sound proof glass. I don't think it has to be a scream, but just the image, sound removed. ... Pause. Must be how film editors see things! This was horrible- just like, a slush (or slash) puppy is not dinner.
