Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, The Night Agent is a sophisticated, character-based, action-thriller centering on a low level FBI Agent who works in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rings -- until the night that it does, propelling him into a fast-moving and dangerous conspiracy that ultimately leads all the way to the Oval Office.

Gabriel Basso’s action thriller isn’t a hit by accident. And in Season 3, it’s firing on all cylinders. That's a star right there. Go to Full Review

In Season 3, the storyline takes a U-turn, abandoning the high-stakes story of a compromised president and effectively neutering the show. Go to Full Review

Eric S. @CoolBean 6h Season 3 starts out with some white washed fear mongering garbage scenario with a passenger plane being shot down over Venezuela 🇻🇪..... See more Paris P. @honestdrysarcasm 12h The series went down hill, this season is so bad. The story line is boring as hell. The first two seasons were so much better, actually a thriller. See more Mick P @MickeyP 15h VERY POOR Very corny. Very hard to watch tbh. Not as good as S1 or S2 Such a let down! 🙁 See more Peter K 15h Overall good story, felt kind of believable, fast pacing. Gabriel Basso is good as an agent, but lacks charisma, his acting feels a bit wooden at times. I like how the different story lines weaved together towards the end. See more Max S @FriendlyReminders 18h Am I the only one who thinks Season 3 is a massive downgrade? I really enjoyed the first season, but this one just feels lazy and highly predictable. First of all: another conspiracy going straight up to the President? We have already been there. It feels like the writers ran out of ideas and just recycled the whole White House plot. Then there is the storyline with The Broker. They force this sudden redemption arc on him, making him the good guy out of nowhere, only to kill him off immediately. And the worst part? The person who kills him is the exact guy who acted suspiciously from the very first episode. Zero surprise, zero tension. While everyone else seems to praise the fast-paced action this season, the actual plot and writing felt completely "whack" and uninspired to me. A huge disappointment compared to the earlier episodes. See more Jacob J @Jacob224 20h Loved season 1 and 2. Season 3 is woke nonsense. See more Read all reviews
