Not a bad way to kill an afternoon. While this is probably more enticing if you've seen more than a couple of Anderson's films, this isn't bad. Malcolm McDowell gives some fun and interesting stories, worth a couple of laughs.

Want to know what a great raconteur sounds like? Watch this film, consisting entirely of Malcolm McDowell telling stories about his mentor, Lindsay Anderson. Other characters appearing include Rachel Roberts, John Gielgud, and Alan Bates. I wish I had seen this live. At times hilarious, at times moving. Recommended even if you don't know Anderson's work.

I'd be hesitant to call this cinematic as it's essentially just a filmed talk from Malcolm McDowell about Lindsey Anderson but it is gripping, charming, witty and moving. Recommended, especially for those who loved 'If...' and 'O Lucky Man!'.
