The Dreadful (2026) 37% 5 EDIT “Someone make an appointment for Harden to see a chiropractor because she carried this movie on her back. At least a gift certificate for a massage.” – InBetweenDrafts Feb 23, 2026 Full Review Honey Bunch (2025) 92% EDIT “After seeing a bunch of horror stinkers in February, it was a relief to get a thoughtful, well-acted and thorough horror film.” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 23, 2026 Full Review Redux Redux (2025) 97% EDIT “Though far from perfect, "Redux Redux" (2025) handles the multiverse better than the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is a solid spiritual successor to the "Terminator" franchise. ” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 23, 2026 Full Review Truth & Treason (2025) 84% EDIT “While critics derided it as conventional, for first time filmmakers to choose this subject matter at a time like this shows courage.” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 23, 2026 Full Review Diabolic (2025) 69% EDIT “"Diabolic" (2025) is a possession movie with some unexpected, fresh and provocative twists that buries the lead in the print promotions. ” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 23, 2026 Full Review How to Make a Killing (2026) 49% EDIT “As a remake, "How to Make a Killing" is a brilliant and perfect transplant from twentieth century British royalty to twenty-first century American one percenters. ” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 23, 2026 Full Review Midwinter Break (2026) 48% EDIT “Though the film is beautiful, and the acting is phenomenal, the story is too ambitious in trying to grapple with all the historical European tragedies of the twentieth century and a marriage at a long overdue turning point. ” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 23, 2026 Full Review Last Ride (2026) EDIT “ It is an earnest, heartwarming movie about how kids cope with big events out of their control…if you can understand what people are saying or can see what is happening during the nighttime scenes.” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 23, 2026 Full Review The Mortuary Assistant (2026) 38% EDIT “The acting and visual atmosphere are strong enough in "The Mortuary Assistant" to stick with it, but just barely. The narrative structure choices are puzzling” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 23, 2026 Full Review The Love That Remains (2025) 95% EDIT “It is an often abstract, occasionally surreal slice of life where the total sum is an elusive number.” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 23, 2026 Full Review EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert (2025) 96% EDIT “If you like Elvis, get a ticket ASAP to "EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert." ” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 23, 2026 Full Review This Is Not a Test (2025) 42% EDIT “If you are new to the zombie genre, then this movie will impress you, but if you already saw an episode of "The Walking Dead" or "Dawn of the Dead" (2004), keep it pushing. ” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 23, 2026 Full Review Scrap (2022) 98% EDIT “Kerr has a talent for making three-dimensional characters who are relatable, flawed and realistic then putting them in scenarios that will keep you absorbed the entire runtime ” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 21, 2026 Full Review THX 1138 (1971) 72% EDIT “THX 1138 is a masterpiece-visually and audibly original though narratively derivative.” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 19, 2026 Full Review The President's Cake (2025) 100% EDIT “The President’s Cake may remind one of A Serious Man in which the protagonist is almost in an existential siege. For Hadi, he lets Lamia and the audience begin to relax though still forever changed before he lets the other shoe drop.” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 15, 2026 Full Review GOAT (2026) 81% EDIT “Is it too early to declare "GOAT" the best kids’ movie of the year? Judging from the loud cheers in the audience and tears welling up from some rude person choosing to cut onions in the theater, it does not feel premature.” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 15, 2026 Full Review Pillion (2025) 99% EDIT “a funny film that does not shy away from being uncomfortable and a bit of a romantic tease.” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 15, 2026 Full Review Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die (2025) 84% EDIT “It sticks the landing because of its heart without being saccharine or simplistic.” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 15, 2026 Full Review Crime 101 (2026) 88% EDIT “It is entertaining and will evaporate the minute that the lights come on. The acting is terrific. Everything in the film looks sumptuous. It just takes too long to reach its destination” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 15, 2026 Full Review Sweetness (2025) 93% EDIT “Writer and director Emma Higgins’ sophomore feature shows promise but falls short in terms of pacing and sticking the landing.” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 15, 2026 Full Review Wuthering Heights (2026) 59% EDIT “The movie is too damn long. At least it looks good.” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 15, 2026 Full Review Cold Storage (2026) 77% EDIT “It has an unreasonably solid cast of actors, but the writing and rhythm needed a lot more work. The heart is there. ” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 15, 2026 Full Review The Haunted Forest (2025) EDIT “"The Haunted Forest" is not scary. ” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 15, 2026 Full Review The Holiday Club (2024) EDIT “If you are willing to give a bit of grace to queer indie films, then start a new tradition suitable for Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s and watch "The Holiday Club."” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 13, 2026 Full Review A Poet (2025) 100% EDIT “Who knew that the world needed a satire about society using a local poetry center as the main location and a nebbish, alcoholic poet who had not published in ages as the protagonist?” – Sarah G Vincent Views Feb 8, 2026 Full Review
