Wow… this is absolutely fantastic. This is exactly what Disney should be doing with Star Wars instead of wasting massive budgets on projects that miss the mark. From start to finish, everything works — the tone, storytelling, and atmosphere all feel authentic and true to the universe. Sam Witwer is phenomenal as Darth Maul, delivering one of the strongest voice performances we’ve had in years. The entire cast is excellent, and every character feels purposeful and well-crafted. You can tell this was made by people who genuinely understand Star Wars and actually care about the lore and its characters. That passion shows in every scene. This is the complete opposite of the uninspired content we’ve seen over the past decade. This is focused, respectful, and exactly what fans have been waiting for. A masterpiece. More of this, please.

I think overall it's a good series but I think live action would of been more appealing overall. The action in this series is impressive. A tad boring in a couple spots but overall so far it's been worthwhile.

Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord is everything the prequels and The Acolyte wished they were. Great storytelling, a compelling lead, and actually good stakes. Easily one of the best things Star Wars has put out in years, and that's saying something after Andor raised the bar.
