Tim Brennan About Boulder 11/06/2023
With a smart combination of editing, shot composition, and music choices, Bartone’s feature debut feels like the kind of thing Hunter S. Thompson or Alex Cox would inject into their veins. Go to Full Review

The well-drawn and engaging trio are not so much part of Gen Z as they are of Gen Z-, ambling through the unattractive mean streets of LA until their adventure in petty crime goes seriously south. That’s when a real sense of dramatic tension kicks in. Go to Full Review

… this disjointed snapshot into grim lives is bold in its execution. Go to Full Review

This darkness-tinged indie project with over 20 awards to its name is a definite winner. Go to Full Review

Everything Will Be Fine in the End is infused with quality craftsmanship, despite a small budget. Go to Full Review

Despite the film’s upbeat title, there’s as much tragedy and loss as there is hope in Bartone’s unformulaic and rewarding tale. Go to Full Review

Juan Carlos A @Casse 11/12/2023 Awful. Who did these reviews. See more 11/02/2023 After Hours, Dazed and Confused, Slacker, My Own Private Idaho. If these are your jam, then this is your next flick. What nonsense can a bunch of drug addled aimless millennials get into and will they be able to get out of it? Definitely worth finding out. Plus, the tunes are kick ass. See more Dawson S @RT26451963 08/08/2023 It's fun to watch with crazy friends See more J. H @RT70343520 08/08/2023 Man, let me tell you 'bout this flick I caught on Aug 4, 2023. It's like a shooting star across the cinematic sky, dig? The script and soundtrack, man, they're like jazz notes improvising together in perfect harmony. The acting, it's a symphony of souls baring it all on that silver screen canvas. And the editing, oh boy, it's like a wild ride on the road of creativity, taking turns you never even thought existed. This film, it's a beatnik's dream, a tapestry woven with threads of pure artistic fire. It's a howl and a whisper, man, a masterpiece in motion. See more Ken P @RT42949117 07/28/2023 This movie is half Tarantino, half David Lynch and half Ingmar Bergman. The story is straight forward with flashes of poetic imagery. It is LA street life. The performances are solid. I enjoyed 'Everything Will Be Fine in the End'. 3 thumbs up. See more Gabriel G @3thingsaboutit 07/10/2023 This was a masterpiece of independent filmmaking. It was obscene, full of colorful and peculiar characters, full of profanity, full of poetry, and full of nudity, and full of amazing well photographed scenery and ridiculously good acting. I watch a lot of indie films and unfortunately most of them are shot indoors and in poor lighting, which usually means there's nothing really happening in the frame. And for the most part the actors are not that good. From what I can tell, this Everything Will be Fine in the End was shot all over L.A., and there's A LOT to see. The actors with the tattoos and their completely off-the-wall wardrobe gave performances that you don't have in major Hollywood productions. They were AMAZING! And the dialogue written for them was definitely a contributing factor to their amazing performance. This was an excellent piece of writing. The music in this film was carefully crafted by the director. It is nuanced and it hits every point that it needs to hit. There was so much to see every frame that I couldn't get off the TV till I had finished the film. If you are a lover of indie films this one is for you. Favorite scene: At one point there are three characters having a threesome, and one of them goes to the kitchen, makes a sandwich, and starts feeding the other two. This is the kind of thing you'll find in this film. I was rolling on the floor laughing. See more Read all reviews
