Noemi M @RT30446796 1d Its just the most feel-good series out there for me at the moment 💖 idk what the wanna-be critics here expect from a goofy highschool k-drama– and for one I liked the executions of the cliches; they wrap up fast enough you dont get annoyed, they deliver the plot and for its genre & demo all the dynamics feel genuin. The plot relies heavily on convenient coincidences and characters lacking basic communication skills. The Seoul setting feels more like a shallow backdrop now than an integral part of the story. It’s frustrating to see promising subplots ignored in favor of repetitive romantic drama that leads nowhere. If you loved the first season, save yourself the headache and skip this installment. A disappointing continuation. The chemistry between the leads has fizzled out, replaced by manufactured angst and "will-they-won't-they" scenarios that no longer feel earned. The pacing is sluggish, and the dialogue feels like it was generated by a social media algorithm rather than a writers' room. It’s time to say goodbye to this franchise before it ruins the legacy of the original films even further. What started as a cute, trope-filled spin-off has devolved into a messy web of forced love triangles and nonsensical character pivots. The K-drama influence that made S1 feel fresh is now buried under lazy writing and predictable Western teen drama clichés. Kitty herself has become increasingly difficult to root for, making decisions that feel entirely out of character just to keep the plot moving. It’s a chore to finish. Kitty deserves way better than how she is being treated by the boy who is supposed to love her. Minho prioritised everything else over his own relationship with Kitty. She tells him about her insecurities and he does nothing to help her but make them worse. And then he thinks his issues are way more important that whatever Kitty needs. He doesn’t care for her at all. Dae was a better boyfriend to Kitty and Yuri was a better person to her. Yuri and LJ was the one to make Kitty feel better about herself than whatever Minho was doing. He is an awful boyfriend. Kitty deserves someone who lets her wear a "Skort" and a cheesy tshirt, because that is literally her personality and they shouldn’t humiliate her for it. In order to avoid the relationship that felt real and genuine, you choose a toxic straight man. Well done for teaching young girls there worth.
